Robyn and Kirstie were thrilled to attend the inaugural European LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association (Ella) Conference in London on 17 and 18 September.
The conference brings together national associations, law firms, and individual practitioners from across Europe and beyond, united by a shared commitment to exchanging expertise, promoting equality and inclusion, and protecting LGBTQ+ rights through collaboration, research, and education within the legal profession.
Chaired by a fantastic committee of dedicated professionals and panellists from across the world, the conference covered a wide range of topics including Trans, Non-binary and Intersex issues in the past and future case law of the international European Courts, Legal Recognition of LGBTQ+ families, Strategic Litigation and the LGBTQ+ Community and remarks from the International Association of LGBTQ+ Judges and the UK Association of LGBTQ+ Judges.
