Training for Resolution (national association of family lawyers) on LGBT law and modern families

August 13, 2020

In her role as chair of the UK and Ireland LGBT Family Law Institute, Natalie Gamble was delighted to be invited to give some training to Resolution (the association of English family lawyers) recently, together with fellow FLI member Andrew Spearman from Laytons LLP.

At a pre-pandemic event in central London, Natalie and Andrew spoke to other family lawyers from around the UK about the basics of the law on parenthood and gender identity for gay, lesbian and transgender parents and children, and discussed good professional practice when representing modern families, including terminology, key issues to consider and good client care.

Resolution have now posted the presentation (both slides and audio) on the training section of their website. You can listen and see the slides on their website
