NGA speaks at ESHRE 2022 conference in Italy

Natalie was delighted to address the annual conference of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) held in Milan on 6 July 2022.  

Natalie spoke as part of the panel on ‘The next step of parenting’ and talked about UK law on parenthood and how it has become outdated over time. Talking about LGBT+ families, co-parents, multi-parent families and families created through surrogacy, Natalie argued that the law should more flexible in order to better reflect diverse modern families.

It was good to share thoughts with fertility professionals and academics from across Europe, where many countries lag behind the UK in accepting same-sex parenting and surrogacy.
